In order to meet the accelerating RFID demands in Asia, the Muehlbauer Group has opened its second production plant in Wuxi, China.

The company has established strong, long-term partnerships since the opening of the sales and service office in Shanghai 10 years ago. The 11,000 square meter plant is intended to provide engineering support, local production capacity, improved technical training capabilities, and a significantly expanded spare stock to the Asia markets.

The Board of Management, recognizing the growing opportunities in the sector, plans on providing better support and shortening turnaround times for the smart label and smart card industries.

We will do our utmost to continuously improve our local presence with a highly skilled and customer oriented team in Wuxi.”

Muehlbauer currently stations 60 employees in Wuxi’s management, research and development, assembly, sales, service and administration divisions. It intends to expand to over 200 employees in the coming years.
